The Company
Blueprint Robotics is a Baltimore based subcontractor and offsite manufacturer with a focus on multi-family wood construction. Primarily serving residential and hospitality sectors, Blueprint is pushing the boundaries of modular and offsite construction by blending advanced automation with cutting-edge BIM technology.
The Challenge
To meet rising demand for multifamily wood construction, Blueprint needed to ramp up production without sacrificing on quality and precision. When factory output began to outpace design capacity, it became clear: their existing systems couldn’t keep up.
COO Jason Bos recognized the urgent need for a solution that could not only address high-volume BIM modeling, but also create a link between design and production teams to fully tap into factory potential.
The Solution
Blueprint turned to Strucsoft’s wood framing software for the following reasons:
- Automated time consuming and repetitive modeling tasks in Revit
- Dedicated features that simplify modular construction design
- Generation of precise wall panel shop drawings
- Connection with CNC machinery and wood saws from Weinmann
Blueprint collaborated further with Strucsoft’s team to customize the software to fully align with Blueprint’s construction process.
